Assembled with a new hybrid 6mm cord. The cords sheath is manufactured using heat-resistant aramid fibers (Temp 900F) for heat resistance and polyester for lighter weight. The 6mm round cord can be felt on the ground, unlike units made with flat webbing. Bags are manufactured of 1000 denier Cordura, hook and loop fastener, nylon webbing, and feature Scotchlite retro-reflective striping. The bag is specially designed for easy deployment with structural firefighting gloves. Autolocking Fixed Eye Snap prevents accidental detachment of the carabiner from its anchor. Fixed Eye prevents the Searchline cord from becoming detached from the carabiner. Retro-reflective tape increases the visibility of the bag. Notice: PROBE search cord is not NFPA Personal Escape Line and cannot be used for a Personal Escape Rope.

Pouch designed to dispense cord as needed without allowing the cord to spill out simultaneously. Auto-Locking Snap with rigging eye prevents PROBE from detaching from the unit through the carabiner gate. 6mm Technora Cord can be felt on the ground (unlike flat webbings). It can be placed on an SCBA belt or hung from a backpack frame.
