A reverse head is used to change the angle between legs. The diagram (above) shows the angles. The use of a reverse head and a quad plate is recommended when constructing a lazy leg tripod. When using a reverse head and whenever possible, loads should be attached to the large D-shackle to centralise the load between the two opposing legs.
