Fire & Rescue Service Manikin.
Rugged, realistic in size, weight distribution, and handling characteristics.
Upgraded to a polyester fabric shell material.
Manufactured using a flexible inner core, an outer shell, and a coverall.
The inner core is weighted to human proportions using 4.4 lb aggregate packets.
Heavier models 154 lb, 176 lb, and 198 lb may have steel shot added to create the correct weight and weight distribution.
Do not use the heavier manikins for MRI training.
For structural integrity, the packets are sewn to a nylon inner dummy with all the body parts (arms, legs, chest, etc.) held in place with polypropylene webbing.
The outer layer is the
same flame retardant Polyester used in Police ballistic/stab vests, which typically has four times the strength and abrasion resistance of
16oz canvas or P.V.C. All seams are double-stitched and are reinforced with high-density polypropylene webbing.
Includes storage loop to hang manikin up to dry (NOT A DRAG HANDLE FOR TRAINING USE).
The included washable coveralls protect the manikin from dirt and are reinforced with high-density polypropylene webbing in high-stress areas.
All manikins 44 lbs and up are supplied with lug sole boots secured to the manikin.
The newly shaped head, recently introduced, allows the fitting of most immobilization collars.
The red head cover can be removed and washed if it becomes dirty.
This new model replaces both the Original General Purpose and Haz-Mat Manikins.
The Fire & Rescue Manikin works very well for Pole Top Rescue Training.

TechNOTE - Ruth Lee Training Manikin Coveralls
Ruth Lee is the only manikin manufacturer that provides clothing with their products.
All Ruth Lee Rescue Training Manikins include coveralls. Manikins 44 lbs and up also include lug sole boots.
None is found on Bullex products, and Simulaids only adds thin gym shorts. While the strength-reinforced coveralls protect the manikin,
they are not deemed Wear Proof.
Their specific design is to provide a replaceable, washable layer that helps protect the manikin.
The coveralls are designed to wear and must be replaced to protect the manikin carcass.
The manikins should mimic that of dragging a similarly dressed victim.
The wear resistance of the coveralls should be considered on par with clothing usually worn by the victims.
The included coveralls protect the manikin when used during rescue training.
The coveralls are not designed to endure the rigors of firefighter drags or physical agility training.
The coveralls and boots should be seen as disposable items and replaced when showing signs of wear or damage to protect
the main body of the manikin. Additional clothing is suggested for use in these activities
(Even the Combat Challenge dresses their manikins in turnout Gear for this competition).
Treat the coveralls as clothing. They are NOT wear-proof. Protect your investment.

Manikin weight vest available in either 15, 25 or 36 lbs. versions. The vest allows the user to adjust the weight of the training manikin to suit the training requirements.

The Vest is made of Polyurethane Coated Polyester Mesh and has pockets to hold disposable heat packs. The heat packs will, after activating, remain at a temperature of between 135 and 158 for up to six hours. For use underneath protective overalls.
