The latest addition to the Ruth Lee range is the 110 lb (50Kg) adult Prisoner Security training manikin! Ideally suited for prisons/ correctional facilities to train to evacuate restrained or unconscious prisoners in an emergency. Used by CERT (Correctional Emergency Response Teams) worldwide for cell extraction or riot control training. The Prisoner Security manikins now combine the features of the Handcuff and the Hanging manikins into one model. - this manikin will accept any standard handcuffs for practicing restraint techniques and also has a reinforced neck to allow for the simulation of a suicide (through hanging)to practice body recovery and evidence-preservation techniques.

Constructed in the same flame retardant Polyester (conforms to BS EN ISO 15025:2002, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ISO 17050-1) used in Police ballistic/stab vests - these manikins are tough!

Tough enough to be driven over with a vehicle or dropped from the 2nd-floor window with no damage.

Material has four times the strength and abrasion resistance of canvas or P.V.C. - tough enough for any exercise!

Water resistant- suitable for first-line responder CBRN exercises as they can be easily cleaned and dried.

Anatomically correct feels like an unconscious person - perfect for cell snatch rescues.

Realistic size and weight - for realistic, challenging exercises.

Will accept any standard handcuffs - replaceable Polyester cuffs prevent damage to the main manikin body.

Reinforced neck - strong enough to simulate a suicide through hanging without damage.

TechNOTE - Ruth Lee Training Manikin Coveralls

Ruth Lee is the only manikin manufacturer that provides clothing with their products. All Ruth Lee Rescue Training Manikins include coveralls. Manikins 44 lbs and up also include lug sole boots. None is found on Bullex products, and Simulaids only adds thin gym shorts. While the strength-reinforced coveralls protect the manikin, they are NOT deemed Wear-proof. Their specific design is to provide a replaceable, washable layer that helps protect the manikin. The coveralls are designed to wear and must be replaced to protect the manikin carcass. The use of the manikins should mimic that of dragging a similarly dressed victim. The wear resistance of the coveralls should be considered on par with clothing usually worn by the victims. The included coveralls protect the manikin when used during rescue training. The coveralls are not designed to endure the rigors of firefighter drags or physical agility training. The coveralls and boots should be seen as disposable items and replaced when showing signs of wear or damage to protect the main body of the manikin. Additional clothing is suggested for use in these activities (Even the Combat Challenge dresses their manikins in turnout Gear for this competition). Treat the coveralls as clothing. They are NOT wear-proof. Protect your investment.
