Airway and IV Management training is usually carried out in a well-lit, carpeted classroom with plenty of space - how would your staff manage in a confined space or other difficult circumstances such as a road traffic collision
(RTC)or if the legs trapped the manikin! Would they even expect to carry out Airway Management outside of a classroom?
If you introduced this manikin into a routine training exercise, what effect would it have - it would certainly make them stop and think and would test their preparedness!
The Full Body Airway / IV Management manikin features the Simulaids Adult Airway Management torso and IV arm. The Airway Management torso is not fixed and can easily be removed for cleaning.
A padded jacket is supplied to protect the torso and to aid installation and removal of the carcass.
The special coveralls have a zippered sleeve so that the IV arm can be accessed for training.
Adult sized at 5' 11" (1.8m) for realistic training.
Supplied with replaceable, washable protective overallsSupplied in a tough storage/carrying bag, making storing and handling the manikin far easier
- they also protect and keep the manikins clean when not in use. The Simulaids torso features anatomical landmarks, including the sternum, rib cage, and substernal notch.
The torso also contains teeth, uvula, vocal cords, glottis, epiglottis, larynx, arytenoid cartilage, trachea, esophagus,and inflatable lungs and stomach while allowing nasogastric tube placement and accepts
Combitube, E.O.A., E.G.T.A., P.T.L., and i-gel airways.

TechNOTE - Ruth Lee Training Manikin Coveralls
Ruth Lee is the only manikin manufacturer that provides clothing with their products. All Ruth Lee Rescue Training Manikins include coveralls.
Manikins 44 lbs and up also include lug sole boots. None is found on Bullex products, and Simulaids only adds thin gym shorts.
While the strength-reinforced coveralls protect the manikin, they are NOT deemed Wear-proof.
Their specific design is to provide a replaceable, washable layer that helps protect the manikin.
The coveralls are designed to wear and must be replaced to protect the manikin carcass.
Use of the manikins should mimic that of dragging a similarly dressed victim.
The wear resistance of the coveralls should be considered on par with clothing usually worn by the victims.
The included coveralls protect the manikin when used during rescue training.
The coveralls are not designed to endure the rigors of firefighter drags or physical agility training.
The coveralls and boots should be seen as disposable items and replaced when showing signs of wear or damage
to protect the main body of the manikin. Additional clothing is suggested for use in these activities (Even the Combat Challenge dresses their manikins in turnout Gear for this competition).
Treat the coveralls as clothing. They are NOT wear-proof. Protect your investment. This product can expose you to chemicals that are known to the State of California to cause cancer.
