ESCAPELINE II™ KIT New Design Escapeline kits are packaged in a fire & heat resistant Defender 750 Nomex pouch. To use, simple open outer pouch, grasp the Autolocking Rigging Carabiner from its compartment, and pull from bag. The Autolocking Carabiner at the end of the Escapeline (temp. 900 degrees F.) can be attached to a rigging point or clipped back onto the Escapeline with a tensionless tie-off. Attach P.E.D. descender to a proper escape belt or harness, and you are "ready to go". Special compartment for rigging carabiners and descender separates equipment from rope to prevent tangling or having to search for the needed equipment. (note: proper training and practice is required of any type of rappel.) Pouch is washable. Kit includes: Escapeline II (kevlar 900 degrees), P.E.D.
